Also, I suggest to do it in the cold season to avoid insects or other unwelcomed visitors... <br /><br />BUT, yes, the chocolate dries very well and it becomes a thick crust! I kept a few of them from last year and they are still fresh-looking. Depending of some variables I don't know, some portraits became very shiny and others not.
